The wood is private and is on the A26 between Lewes and Uckfield. The turning is almost opposite the Half Way House pub and next to a phone box and a telephone box, (TN22 5UG). There is a bus stop directly at the end of the drive coming from Uckfield and across the road coming from Lewes.(no 29 Bus)
